"I strive to capture the beauty God created in as simple and direct way as I possibly can, while maintaining a true representation of what I see.  I have found that painting from life refreshes my work in a way that is hard to achieve from a photo."

Since 1970, the South Texas painter has studied to achieve the insight she needs to use her God given talent to create her art.  Beginning with just a high school art class, Bonny has continued her pursuit for artistic knowledge from such great artist as Janice Yow Hindes, Matt Smith, Scott Burdick, Kevin Macpherson, Ron Rencher, Kim English, George Strickland and John Budicin, under which she has learned so much.

Bonny has entered many regional shows, earning awards including a Best of Show.  Her works are in private collections from Virginia to California.
